New House

Hi pepper fans

Big Diehl here just letting you know that I've been a little preoccupied with the buying of a house, moving and whatnot. So, I apologize for my laxness in posts. I will have a new post this weekend and pics of the new garden space we're tilling at our home. I now have my own office with storage and grow stations for the teensy plants. Which, I must add, is separate from my wife's studio space finally(to our collective relief).

More of my pepper plants have sprouted so I've gotten a few Bolivian rainbow pepper sprouts now along with two big poblano plants.

Also, I'm looking locally for some farm markets I can participate in this year in and around the Verona/Penn Hills Pa area. If any of you chile heads knows of any send me some info at my email address.

So, as always Big things are coming and it's always a Big Diehl.

Over all I would buy again from most of these sellers. Definitely buying more from pepper gardeners and Everwilde farms.
I will however not be buying from seed survivor in the future.

Sprouts

Well, I'm sure  just like any other proud papa I'm gonna show some pics of my new additions so here it goes and I am just bubbling over with excitement

First up is a lil jalapeño.

Here's some thai chile
(not sure what that thing is in the background tbh)

And all three of my Carolina Reaper seeds have sprouted within days of each other.

So as you can all see big things are growing here at Big Diehl Peppers.

I'll keep ya posted on any new sprouts and once everything has had ample time I'll give some reviews on the places I snagged these seeds from.

Where do you Think I should Look To Sell?

A small Pit-Stop Store in my hometown, Defiance PA, has agreed to put some of my peppers up on their shelf, so far we've only sold one through there but Now I want to look other places to get in to.

I also got a tip about a local Pittsburgh Flea-Market that is only 10$ to set up a table, So next spring look for this Diehl when your out hunting other deals

I'm also looking into getting a table for next years pepper farm festival. But only if I can make enough product to make it worth it.

So Where else should I look? I'm still working on getting some back-stock to get on Amazon but I'd really like to be local, anyone know of somewhere that wont cost me an arm and a leg for a table?

Getting Ready for the Growing Season

I've started setting up for when the seeds I ordered online finally arrive. I've got enough room for 45 plants in the small pots and room for another 36 in the starter tray.

As far as what I'm going to plant I've gotten seeds from my wish list
Ghost
Scorpion
Habanero

And purchased a few for myself including cayenne
Jalapeño
Cherry bomb
Wax
Cubanelle
Poblano
Thai
Bell
Bolivian rainbow
Sweet pimento
And...

*drum roll*

Carolina reaper

I got these all from amazon from various sellers. Once they sprout  I'll give full reviews for all you chili growers since there was a noticeable lack of feedback on most if not all the sellers.

In other news, I've just purchased a house, to Which closing is in February, so in addition to the plants at our friends large garden I'll have one of my own to supply my pepper needs.

So in closing, as I've said before there are wonderful things coming and they are definitely a Big Diehl.
